About
Pixel Verdict started as a group chat where four friends argued about which mobile games were worth the storage space on our phones. At some point we realized we were writing more than most review sites, so we made it official and put everything in one place.,Every game here gets played properly. We don't skim a trailer and call it a day. Someone on the team installs the thing, pushes through the first few hours at minimum, and only then do we sit down to write. If a game needs twenty hours to show its real shape, it gets twenty hours.,We cover the full spread on purpose: puzzles, RPGs, strategy, arcade, racing, whatever lands on the stores. Variety keeps us honest, because judging a tactics game by puzzle-game standards is how bad reviews happen. We try to meet each title on its own terms.,Nobody pays us to like their game, and we say so loudly because it matters. Our only job is to tell you whether the download is worth it.
Lena Hoffmann — Lena has been reviewing games for over a decade and still keeps three phones on her desk for testing. She runs the editorial calendar and plays far more RPGs than is probably healthy.
